ANGLO-SAXON LANGUAGE by Antonella Gagliostro

This section is devoted to the linguistic aspects of Old English (or Anglo-Saxon).

The aim of this unit is to provide an outline of Old English for teachers with an audience of 16 year olds and over.

I've concentrated mainly on the origins and phonetics of Old English, leaving the grammar and syntax part to the links I've selected, as they are complete and conceived with a didactic aim in mind.

Teachers will be able to evaluate themselves by using the questins and links at the end of each section.

A "lesson Plans" section is present, where teachers will find a possible lesson plan and links to other plans specifically conceived for particular topics related to Old English.
